The Asian Hip Hop Summit North America Tour is set to make history in August 2008. Never before have Asian
musicians toured every major region of the North American continent. Journeying to 27 cities over the course of one
month, passing through the Rockies, the Deep South, the East Coast, Canada, the Midwest, the Northwest, and back
through California, supreme lyricists DUMBFOUNDEAD, LYRAFLIP, and CHOSEN 1 from Los Angeles, female
rapper YOUTHINASIA from Las Vegas, and scratch specialist DJ DSTRUKT from the Bay Area, are out to prove
that artistic talent, originality, and mastery are as much the legacy of the Asiatic today as they were in the days of ancient Asia.

Founded in Koreatown, Los Angeles by Kublai Kwon on the 10th anniversary of the Los Angeles Riots, the Asian Hip Hop
Summit quickly established itself as Southern California's premiere festival of pan-Asian arts. The first Asian Hip Hop
Summit shook up the Los Angeles arts scene in 2002 with its startlingly new and radical concept of "Asiatic music
for an Asiatic audience." By 2007, Asian Hip Hop Summit had spread from Los Angeles to San Francisco, New York,
Atlanta, Seattle, and Vancouver. In 2008, Asian Hip Hop Summit will have invaded every corner of North America,
a "yellow peril" of conquering music.
